Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The people and nursery are awesome. I recently took my plant there to ask for help on how to care for it. The gentleman who assisted me was extremely patient and professional. I highly recommend this business, and wish that I could give 100 stars.

TL:DR - Nice enough collection of plants, pots, and supplies. Nasty attitude and non-existent customer service. I stopped going to Natty Garden a number of years ago after a friend shared a poor experience she had there, and vibes generally being off every time I was in there. Today I needed some retail therapy and thought itβd be nice to treat myself to a couple of new plants for Motherβs Day. While on a stroller walk with my baby, I decided Iβd stop by and give Nattyβs another go - optimistic that perhaps thereβs been some changes after all these years. I was completely wrong and am sad I spent my money. After completing my purchase of a couple of small plants, the man at the register asked if I wanted a bag to which I initially replied no. Shortly after that, upon realizing a bag may be helpful for me to navigate the stroller, I asked him what kind of bags they had. He looked at me, sighed, rolled his eyes, and then said βSeriously?β He then began ranting at me about the fact that he already asked me if I wanted a bag, him not understanding why people always ask that question, and had me explain the reason I wanted a bag before he begrudgingly gave me one. The whole exchang

This is truly the most wonderful neighborhood plant shop. They even let you borrow a cart to bring your plants home! Nurain was incredibly kind and thoughtfulβshe explained how to care for my new plants, repotted them for me, and even gave advice on the ones I already had at home. Iβll definitely be coming back and love supporting amazing women like her.
